Why the Speakeasy-Style Yoga?
Grip The Mat was created with the purpose to break mindless routine and create soulful experiences.
Our Los Angeles yoga social events combine Vinyasa yoga with a social hour to encourage attendees to feel good and have fun. Why add the password? Three reasons:
#1 Encourage talking. Unless you've attended a Grip The Mat event before, you'll have to hear the password from someone else who's been. We want people to use whatever media of communication to connect with others and talk about the GTM community and doing something that feels good for a change.
#2 Stay committed. Grip The Mat is a network of badass people seeking to find something unique all across the country. Sure, we're inclusive to anyone, but it's an exclusive experience.
#3 It's fun. Who doesn't like riddles?
