We are so excited to launch a new series about the all of wonderful people we work with. To kick it off, we talked to the crew who has been with us since day one providing you with nutty, crunchy goodness and warm hearts no matter what GTM occasion. Give it up for KIND Snacks.

Jeff Aitken, the Field Marketing Manager for D.C. and Baltimore shared his insights about what makes our partnership #kindawesome:

Who are you and what are you known for?

We are KIND Snacks. KIND makes high quality, nutrient-rich snacks from whole ingredients – like whole nuts and whole grains – flavored with a variety of fruits and spices. . From the delicious snacks we make to the way we work, live and give back, our focus is on making the world a little kinder, one snack and act at a time (no arm-twisting here, promise). One simple belief underpins it all: There's more to business than just profit.

Why did you want to work with Grip The Mat?

GTM has created a #kindawesome program series to help bring newcomers and seasoned yogis together for fun and fitness. We have been with them through Bendy Brunch, V2V, Soul & Spirts, Father’s Day Broga Ride, [Silent] Soul & Spirits, Balance & Brews, Warriors for a Cause and a few private events. GTM & KIND share a common desire to help people be and feel better. We are always looking for creative ways to help encourage people to be able to attain their goals.

And now for the hard-hitting questions...

What are your favorite booze and KIND bar parings?

We’ve had great success pairing our wide variety of KIND Bars with various wines, cocktails and beers over the past year. A  Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate Bar and a nice, bold red such as Cabernet is delicious. It also pairs well with a Stout. Our Madagascar Vanilla bar is perfect with a brighter wine like Sauvignon Blanc or Rosé.

And what if you had to throw yoga in that mix?

I love a glass of Pinot Grigio with KIND Pomegranate Blue Berry Pistachio Bar because it reminds me of summer. And if I’m doing a yoga pose while eating/drinking I’d be dancer! Another favorite is an IPA and a Roasted Jalapeño Strong & KIND Bar followed by Child's Pose, because it's relaxing.

Anything else that you think the audience should know/would find funny!

It’s usually the nuts who change the world!

Watch how KIND shares their love with us and our crew at Vinyasa to Vino on World Kindness Day last year:

Thanks to Jeff and the entire KIND team for their time and energy throughout  the past year as we have grown together. Here's to spreading KINDness throughout all of our pairings.

If you'd like to work with us, we'd love to hear from you!

Cheers + Namaste,

GTM
