Favorite yoga pose & why:
Warrior / Virabhadrasana. To me, it is such a literal process of "stepping" out of your daily life and into mindfulness. With repetition, it's easier to drop the unimportant or inconsequential stuff and stick to the foundations - flow, breath and focus.
Most challenging yoga pose for you & why:
Headstand / Adho Mukha Vrksasana. Inversions definitely force me to wake-up to everything that holds me back from flight - the fear of falling or looking bad. It's a big lesson that I take off the mat with me too.
Hobbies or other things you like to do:
I grew up surrounded by a lot of nature so I love getting out of the city and doing hikes with friends.
Why are you a part of the GTM team?
My mission is to powerfully share the yoga practice and make space for others to experience themselves just as they are. The awesome thing about Grip the Mat and our events is that they bring a community of people together that are equally committed to their growth and personal inquiry as they are to trying new things and meeting new people. At the end of the day, that's a really powerful combo for shifting perspective ;)
